Lara is a passionate and cheerful Occupational Therapist who enjoys supporting children to achieve confidence and independence in all aspects of their life. She works diligently to implement therapy plans' that are achievable and realistic that help families reach their goals.
Lara loves working with children on their sensory integration, emotional regulation, self-care skills, fine motor skills, social and play skills. Lara believes in a connection first model of therapy and working collaboratively with other therapists to achieve the best outcomes for her clients. Lara has completed Level 1 in Floortime DIR therapy and is excited to complete her Level 2 DIR therapy course at the start of 2025. Additionally, she is experienced in equipment prescription for young children.
Lara loves working with children of all ages, however, has a particular interest in children aged 0-2 years old with developmental delay and disability.
In her spare time, Lara enjoys going to the movies, getting Chai lattes and reading an interesting book
